Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Senior Infrastructure Engineer | Leuven, Belgium | Permanent | Dutch Speaking

Our client, a growing high‑tech / manufacturing company, are looking to strengthen their ICT team with an experienced Systems / Infrastructure Engineer.

This role will suit someone who genuinely enjoys owning infrastructure end‑to‑end, designing, improving, and modernising systems, rather than pure project management or frontline support.

Your Profile:

• Strong Systems / Infrastructure Engineering background
• Hands‑on experience with Windows & Linux environments
• VMware / virtualisation knowledge
• Azure (including Entra ID) and Microsoft 365 administration
• Exposure to monitoring, automation, and infrastructure optimisation
• Comfortable taking responsibility for a technology area from A–Z - making proposals and planning for the future

The role:

• High‑tech, international IT environment
• Based in Leuven, primarily on‑site (manufacturing site)
• Option for 1 day remote per week
• Minimal travel (2–3 trips per year)
• Autonomous role, managed largely remotely, with strong trust
• Collaborative team culture — they’re specifically looking for someone down‑to‑earth and pragmatic

Languages:

• English: mandatory
• Dutch: B2/ C1
• French: ideal
